How to do Numerology

To use this numerology guide, write down your entire name (first name, middle name and last name). Find their numerical equivalents from the chart above. Add the numbers until they are reduced to a single number. Example: if the total is 17, add 1+7= 8. The result is the Name Number.

The Name Number or Expression Number

The name number refers to the way you communicate with other people. It also denotes your talents and how you express yourself.

The Motivation Number

This is obtained by adding all the vowels in your name reduced to one digit. This expresses your motivations and why you do the things you do.

Inner-Self Number

The inner self number is obtained by adding the numerical values of the consonants. The total is reduced to one digit. This describes how you see yourself. It can also express how people see you.

Tendency Numbers

These are the numbers that appear often in your name. This number shows the qualities you will display very often.

Destiny Number

This is the total number of your date of birth reduced to a single digit. For example, January 1, 1977 would be 1+1+1+9+7+7. February 3, 1988 would 2+3+1+9+8+8. This is the overriding force affecting your life. It also shows you how to attain balance in life.
