Other Ways to Read and Interpret the Tarot Cards
Shuffle the cards and take two cards. The one on the left represents the past and the one on the right symbolizes the future. Turn up both cards. Now you can analyze the results of the two cards.
The following is another method. Shuffle the cards and place three of them face down in front of you. The card in the center represents the nature of the question. The card on the left symbolizes the personality of the asker. The card on the right symbolizes the potential outcome of the situation.
For more complex questions, take three cards, face down. Add three cards to the upper right and three more at the upper left. These six extra cards represent other potential outcomes to the situation.
Some go further and add six more cards on the lower left and right areas. These cards on the lower left symbolize the personality of the person being queried. The cards on the lower right symbolize the personality of the asker. Depending on the question, the lower left cards can represent situations instead.
Regardless of which tarot card reading guide you choose, make sure you formulate the question clearly in your mind. If you are doing the reading yourself, try to be as objective as possible. Do not try to read meanings into the cards that are not there.
